There has been a severe tornado in the Joplin area around 120 miles north of Fort Smith (on the Missouri, Oklahoma, Kansas border...) We've been listening to the local emergency services up there, and there is quite a lot of significant damage (collapsed buildings, fires, injuries) and as we travel through there quite often our heart goes out to them.

So far, there's nothing in Fort Smith, however there is a line of storms developing to the west of us. Looking at the radar, this front seems to be dissipating, so we're not expecting any damage at the moment, but we're keeping a close eye on it. If you want to see what the weather is doing in relations to our location, please take a look at this map. Our location is the station in the middle of the screen.
